Back in July, I asked for nominations for the inaugural Art Fry Product Innovation Award, a new honor from ProductCamp and PDMA-MN recognizing products, services, and other innovations that have made it to market and succeeded there. It's named after Art Fry, the 3M scientist behind the Post-it Note®.

Nominations are closed

The nomination window closed on August 15, and the selection team has been reviewing candidates since. Thanks to everyone who submitted a name: individuals, teams, and companies working across B2B and B2C markets, with a strong showing from Minnesota and the Twin Cities.

The winner will be announced September 25

The inaugural award will be presented during the closing session of ProductCamp Twin Cities, beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, at Best Buy Headquarters in Richfield.

Earlier that day, a new Innovation Panel will bring together three Minnesota business leaders to talk about building products from scratch, before the award closes out the day by recognizing one that already made it. I'll have more on both once the event wraps.
