I'm helping find the first Art Fry Product Innovation Award winner. Know someone who should be nominated?
I'm part of the group collecting nominations for the inaugural Art Fry Product Innovation Award, a new honor from ProductCamp and PDMA-MN recognizing products, services, and other innovations that have made it to market and succeeded there. It's named after Art Fry, the 3M scientist behind the Post-it Note®. The first winner will be announced at ProductCamp Twin Cities on September 25th.
Who we're looking for
Innovators: individuals, teams, or companies working across B2B or B2C markets. We're especially interested in nominees from Minnesota and the Twin Cities, though the door is open more broadly.
What matters most is that the innovation is real and it worked: a creative idea developed into a product or service that found its market and succeeded. Credit to a person or small team over a faceless company effort is a plus. There's no rush on timing either; track record counts more than how recently something launched.
If this sounds like you or someone in your network
Reach out to me directly and I'll send over the details, or email MNPDMA@gmail.com with "Art Fry Award" in the subject line.
Nominations are due August 15. If there's someone in your world who built something real and never got the recognition for it, this is your chance to say so.
